About Hopiets

Hopiets was born from the scooter scene I grew up in. Long rides with friends, the cold cutting through your jacket, the sound of the engine ticking, and that feeling of freedom you can’t find anywhere else. That’s where it all started.

I quickly noticed that many of us had the same problem: we wanted to enjoy the ride, but our visibility was often terrible. Dark clothing, dark evenings, and situations that were just a little too close for comfort. I saw riders nearly get hit, and I’ve had plenty of moments myself where drivers simply “didn’t see me.”

At some point, I thought:

Why not create something that truly stands out, fits the Bikelife style, and actually serves a purpose?

That’s how the reflective Hopiets balaclava was born — designed to keep you warm, make you highly visible in the dark, and look clean with any scooter or motorcycle setup. It wasn’t created by a big corporation, but by someone who lives life on two wheels every day.

We ship our products with care, respond quickly, and stand behind everything we sell. Not because we have to, but because I always found it frustrating that scooter riders were rarely taken seriously by online stores.

Hopiets started with one simple idea:

If nobody is making something that truly fits our community… then I’ll do it myself.
